Dubai Property Selling Guide
How to sell property in Dubai: valuation, Form A, MOU, NOC and transfer.
How to sell your property in Dubai
1. Get a valuation
An accurate valuation based on recent transactions helps you sell faster and for the right price. Book a valuation.
2. Appoint an agent (Form A)
Form A is the RERA agreement between seller and broker, setting out the terms of the listing.
3. Prepare and market the property
Small repairs, painting and cleaning make a strong first impression. Professional photos and a well-written listing reach more buyers.
4. Accept an offer and sign Form F
When you accept an offer, you and the buyer sign the memorandum of understanding (Form F), which sets the price, deposit and timeline.
5. Settle any mortgage and obtain the NOC
If your property is mortgaged, the loan must be settled at or before transfer. You also apply for a No Objection Certificate from the developer, confirming there are no outstanding service charges.
6. Transfer
The transfer is completed at a Dubai Land Department trustee office, where the buyer’s payment is released to you.
This guide is general information, not legal or financial advice. Fees and regulations change, so please confirm current requirements with our team or the Dubai Land Department before you commit.
